So it's no secret here that my memory has dropped off the radar. Well a couple of weeks ago I saw a shirt for Patrick I liked and decided to buy it for him. One night he put it on, and I was in our closet when it struck me: the reason I liked that shirt so much, is because I already had it in the exact same print for myself! I told him to hang on a second and I quickly changed into my shirt, then walked out and said I was ready to go. I'm pretty sure he almost fainted. The look of fear in his eyes made it apparent he wasn't sure if I was joking or serious. He did humor me and take a picture together though. If only the kids were in it this would have been the perfect Christmas card picture.
Patrick got us tickets to go see comedian Brian Regan last night. We almost didn't go with the kids being sick, but luckily it started late enough that we were able to basically get them to bed then leave. I'm so glad we decided to go! Brian Regan is hilarious and he is the rare exception in that his material is all clean. There were even several kids there, and he didn't cuss once. Not to sound like an old fuddy duddy, but it was just refreshing. One of the first bits I saw him do was on Dora the Explorer...you can check it out here if you're interested.
It's already time for another round of Proof is in the Pin! Have you tried any pins lately? Fails or successes, I'd love for you to link up on Tuesday.
Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend! :)
The pj's are super cute! Hate the kiddos aren't feeling well... my girl is under the weather too. Yuck! Prayers for healing and patience!
ReplyDeleteThat pic of you and Patrick in your matching shirts is just too cute. I need a new adjective--but it would help if y'all weren't so cute all the time!
ReplyDeletei laugh every time i see that picture of you and patrick in your matching shirts. it never gets old.
ReplyDeleteLove the pjs! Your kids look so cute in them! I MUST get that charger holder! Currently I stick them in my nightstand drawer to hold them. I hate looking for them on the floor too.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE those pajamas! And that bow! I'd love to hear about potty training Manny. Our boys sound very similar and we haven't even started the process yet so I am so interested/scared to see how it goes for you. I'm praying I just wake up one day and he's 100% potty trained. I hope the kids feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteLove your matching shirts! :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, the matching shirts are hysterical!!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't stop laughing about the matching shirts!! It's been a couple days since I read the post...and usually I'm not able to comment but I just had to, lol! And the kiddos of course, are adorable in their pj's!
