I talk about Pinterest a lot, and I really do love it. Sure, it has it's pros and cons, but I will say it has brought me SO many great ideas. Here's my issue with it though. I pin, pin, pin...but how often do I actually do any of those pins? In case that's not clear: rarely. So, from that, I bring you a "Pinterest Challenge" of sorts.
The 2nd Tuesday of every month, I will post about any pins I completed that month. Whether they turned out good or bad, I will share them in hopes of having a more productive Pinterest experience. (Do I sound like a dork yet?) I decided I will make myself complete 3 pins a month. Considering how
many things I pin, that's really not many...but I wanted to keep it
realistic for me.
And in case you'd like to join in? I'll add a link-up so we can check out everyone's Pinterest hits and misses. It can be a project, recipe, outfit inspiration, article with tips...really just anything you've pinned that has been worthy of the pin, so to speak. The whole point of this is to become doers, not just pinners. (Pretty sure that confirmed my dork status in case it was still in question.) And you can share one pin or you can share ten pins...there are no real "rules" to this, other than you must have actually tried it!
So my first shot at this will be on this Tuesday, September the 11th, and I'd love to have you join me in the fun! I will have a button you can grab and the link-up ready to go Tuesday morning if you want to play along. Have a great weekend friends! :)
You are so creative, I just love your ideas. I personally do not have a blog, but I read a ton, and yours is one of them. Thanks for sharing!

This is a great idea. It's good to hear actual results of pins. I've tried a few so I will def be participating.

you sound like a friend of mine, she's always saying she pins so much and never does anything, but i don't guess i see a problem in that, ha! :) as like a file folder, there when i need it. i've been trying a lot of recipes lately, i'll have to link up and tell you my thoughts :)
ReplyDeletegood idea! I will try and participate... I need a shove! lol
ReplyDeleteLove this idea! I pin so many wonderful ideas, cute clothes, and yummy recipes...And then rarely go back to use them. This may be the perfect motivator:)
ReplyDeleteAh.....crafting accountability. I like it. However, seeing as my crafting and recipe hoarding are about as inspiring as my stretch marks and c-section scar, I think I will be enjoying your results as well as the others that link up. Great idea!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the pics of the kiddos!! Manny is just the sweetest big brother and Maeva......gorgeous!!! Although some more matching seer-sucker personalized outfits would do all of us some good. So, can you please get on that??
