The baby shower yesterday went great! It was so fun to plan a shower with all things PINK for a change. :) Nicole is a sweet friend of mine I used to teach with when we lived in Waco. She is the friend who threw me the Sip & See and gave Manny his monthly birthday gifts, so I was excited to do something special for her, too!
For the food, I decided to go with a "cravings" theme, and we served all of the yummy things Nicole has been craving throughout her pregnancy.
Katie posted about a scrapbook paper backdrop awhile back, and I couldn't wait to try it. It is so simple and is such a neat touch! I bought scrapbook paper when it was on sale at Hobby Lobby 4/$1, and used scotch tape to attach the ribbon to the back of the paper. Then I hung it from the ceiling using packing tape. I didn't take the time to measure it out exactly because I didn't want this to turn into a really long project, so it's not perfect measurement wise, but I still love it. :) Here is Nicole by the table...she is just glowing! :)
Nicole made this cute jar for her nursery using the tutorial I shared here, so I decided to borrow it for the shower. :)
And a few more pictures of the table...

We served strawberry lemonade, diet coke, and bottled water to drink. You can read about how I made my water bottle labels here.
For favors, I made some rolled fabric rosettes with clips on the back. They seemed to be a hit. :)
I saw this idea to make a wreath out of cups also from Katie's blog. She is SO good about posting links to neat ideas...thanks a million Katie for all of the inspiration! The wreath got a little beat up on the trip to Waco, but it's okay...just a little different shape. :) (I have a tutorial coming on how to make this wreath.) I got the M from Hobby Lobby, and mod podged scrapbook paper on it and added some bling.
I made a sign telling people what to do with their blessing card from the invitation. Some people brought them, but I had extras on hand for those who didn't.
And yet another fun idea I found via Katie's blog is this baby shower photo booth! Photo booth props are so popular right now and make for some fun pictures. I bought this set of printables from One Sweet Party and think they are SO cute! You just print them out and glue a bamboo skewer to the back...very simple.
Here are some of our fun pictures!

Well I think that covers everything! It was such a fun day and I loved putting the party together. I'm so excited for you Nicole and can't wait to meet sweet Madison Grace! :)

Wow, everything is so adorable. Where did you find the white knob for the gumball machine? I've looked everywhere and the only ones I've found, have the screw glued in and I can't take it apart.
