For the subway art, I had it printed as a 16x20 at Sam's for around $6. You could also order it from Wal-Mart (they don't offer the 1 hour service like Sam's does) but it is a little more expensive. I got the frame 1/2 price at Hobby Lobby for around $17.
I didn't follow their directions on the banner exactly because...well, because I don't sew. I used bias tape but just used rubber cement to glue the flags into the fold, and they held great.
I made the trees just as their tutorial said. They were a little messy because I used the fine Martha Stewart glitter, but I think the end result was worth it.
The directions to make the glitter trees can be found here. You can download the banner and printable subway art on their blog here. (And the trees with the burlap base came from Dollar General for $3.25 each in case you were wondering.)
Go visit their blog...you'll love it! And be sure to say thanks for the amazing free downloads...it's wonderful that they are sharing their talent! :)

I LOVE it! Even with the tutorials and downloads I can never be crafty. I usually buy the stuff and get all excited just to wind up bawling! ha ha!
ReplyDeleteI love all of the printables this year! You are one crafty girl ;)
ReplyDeleteWell hello new friend...You are just cute as a button! I found you when you posted your NOEL letters on Kate's Crafts! I've been seeing those letters and wanted to try it. So I've been sitting here reading about you and you are just adorable! I am so touched and so enjoyed reading about your "pregnancy" story. What a blessing...God is so good and you are right...provides miracles...and your little guy is proof of that. I got you bookmarked and will be back. Want to read lots more of your craftiness!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Tanya
It looks awesome! I love that you did the banner without sewing, I'm just not very crafty so I usually skip over anything that says I have to sew.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the blog, they have lots of fun stuff!
Cute office space you have there lady...so festive :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Dump yo junk comment. Too funny!
We have that exact same room! LOVE the decor. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIt turned out great! My "office/dump yo junk room" is currently the storage room for all of the containers that all of the Christmas decor came out of. Which is also why there will be no Christmas cards this year.....
